EVALUATION- Q8 PART 1 Audience Feedback (Wordle)

We received mainly positive feedback from the audience about 'Goodnight Sleep Tight'. Many people thought the shots did not give away the whole story in the opening so this made them want to continue watching. They particular liked the shot of the fan spinning as they found it unique and different. The fact that there were latching shots and normal shots of the boy moving his head around the pillow frantically portrayed that he is having a bad dream and this helped the audience to notice the sub-genre of our opening, which was indeed a psychological thriller. However some also thought the opening should have been a bit longer and that it was a little confusing as there were many different, weird shots. On the other hand, this may also be a positive comment as one of our intentions was to make the audience confused to portray a spooky mood so that the audience would want to carry on watching. The weird shots, which we call the 'dream shots' are meant to show how the boy is having various, unusual thoughts to convey abnormality and portray a scary and mysterious feel.
